What is Flex Payroll Agent?

Flex Payroll Agent is a managed payroll service where a dedicated Greenshades specialist runs payroll on your behalf — inside your existing Greenshades platform. You keep full visibility and final approval authority; we handle the manual execution work every cycle.

Will we have a dedicated person, or does our work go into a shared queue?

You'll have a dedicated payroll specialist — not a generic support queue. They spend time upfront learning your specific workflows, pay codes, edge cases, and cycle rhythm. Over time, they function as an extension of your team, not a rotating contact at a service desk.

How is this different from outsourcing payroll to a third-party provider?

Traditional outsourcing moves your data and processes to another system, which means giving up visibility, flexibility, and control. Flex Payroll Agent works inside your Greenshades account. Is this a replacement for our Greenshades payroll software?

No. Flex Payroll Agent is a managed service layer on top of your existing Greenshades platform. You keep the software and the data. We add a dedicated specialist team to execute payroll on your behalf.

Do you handle taxes?

Yes. Greenshades handles tax calculations and can prepare federal and state filings through our Payroll Tax Service (PTS) product. You remain responsible for submitting returns and payments through our platform and owning and maintaining your tax accounts in each jurisdiction, including opening new accounts when operating in new states.

Will we lose visibility into our payroll?

No. Because we work inside your Greenshades account, you have real-time access to every run, every change, and every result — the same access you have today. Nothing posts without your final approval.

Do we still approve payroll before it goes out?

Yes, always. We prepare and validate the run, then send it to you for review and sign-off. Nothing posts until you approve. That checkpoint doesn't change.
